So we started the day intending to burn the rest of the bird fields. Well.....3-4 inches of rain doesn't make for very good burning conditions. Looked like we tried to shave with the proverbial rusty sickle. So.... a little more puppy water work (cuz there's plenty water in the pond today too!!) a Can-Am ride around the place, cheese/crackers with an Irish Mule, and grilling out for one of our 'off-season' dinners (LOVE those!) Burgers....cauliflower/broccoli salad....and strawberry rhubarb pie with vanilla ice cream for dessert. Yep....burning tomorrow...that's the plan.
