Hope ya'll had as lovely of a day as we did! Beautiful weather - awesome food - and superb company. We started the day by smoking deviled eggs and chukar wrapped in bacon for an appetizer......then more smoking, with corned beef and sweet potatoes. Put that together with an awesome green salad topped with fruit, nuts and cheese, and dinner was outstanding. Dessert....chocolate cake...not much better than all that.
One might think we'd have had enough smoke yesterday, with the burning of the fields....but seems it was more of an inspiration than a deterrent.
Took a short ride in the Can-Am to enjoy the beautiful outdoors and tag a few Redbud trees while they're budded out and beautiful, want to keep track of those beauties. Got in a little puppy swim training, in preparation for a NAVHDA NA test this month. Beautiful day!
